I livelli di eccellenza raggiunti dalla flotta classificata sono dimostrati dalle statistiche di PSC per le nostre navi. Per il settimo anno consecutivo nessuna nave classificata dal RINA ha avuto detention da parte della Coast Guard Americana, per deficienze legate alla classe. Inoltre nel triennio 2004-2006 il RINA ha avuto una delle migliori performance tra le società IACS con il più basso valore percentuale di navi detenute nell'ambito dei Paesi del Paris MOU.

The levels of excellence achieved by the RINA fleet are demonstrated by selected performance indicators.
One of the most important is represented by Port State Control. RINA has experienced in recent years a remarkable improvement in PSC statistics leading last year to a position of excellence in the Paris Memorandum of Understanding and to a zero-class related detention record with the US Coast Guard for the last seven years.
